Having worked atop Federal Center for two months, I stand by allocating some funds from the Recovery Act to wholly destroy, redesign, and rebuild everything from Independence to H and 14th to 2nd SW (except the Mandarin Oriental; I like their tea service). But this plan of Gehry’s isn’t a bad start.
